The COBankruptcyLaw Library of Denver attorney Robin Kert Hunt is not an official government site and does not contain the official version of the Colorado Revised Statutes. The official version of the Colorado Revised Statutes is available on the internet as hosted by LexisNexis (the current printer) at http://www.michie.com/colorado. This online version of the exemption laws can provide more search and linking capabilities than are available elsewhere. This web site and its contents are for the convenience of users, who use the site solely at their own risk. Update: On June 5, 2015, Governor Hickenlooper signed a bill amending Colorado's exemption laws used in bankruptcy cases. In general, the amendments are expected to be effective on July 1, 2015, and apply to bankruptcy cases filed on or after the effective date. The amended amounts are shown on the Colorado Bankruptcy Exemptions at a Glance web page.
