2014-07-01 Anticipated Effective Date for Draft Local Rules, Forms and 2 General Procedure Orders

Notice from the Clerk of the Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado:

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado, in conjunction with the Local Rules Revision Committee, announces the opening of the comment period for the attached 
Local Rules, Forms and General Procedure Orders, clean and redline versions may be viewed. The majority of the rules address revisions related to counsel and payment to account for the adoption of Section IV- Attorney Rules, D.C.COLO.LAttyR by the United States District Court and two are directed to addressing the issue of the claims in Chapter 13. The General Procedure Orders address Installment Payments and Filing Fee Waivers. Following review and consideration of the comments, the anticipated effective date will be July 1, 2014. Pursuant to Fed.R.Bankr.P. 9029, this is being sent out for Notice and comments. The Court welcomes comments from court users, members of the Bar and the public at large. All comments must be submitted no later than Thursday, June 19, 2014. Please submit comments to LocalRule_comments@cob.uscourts.gov or mail them to the Chief Deputy, Kelly Sweeney, United States Bankruptcy Court, U.S. Custom House, 721 19th Street, Denver, Colorado 80202 (please identify the specific Local Rule or General Procedure Order to which your comment(s) relate).
